• I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Loki Renard, but honestly, I tend to say this with every book of hers that I read.
  
  This is the story of Chloe and Darko (very appropriately named I might add). Chloe’s wealthy father has died suddenly and Darko just shows up and takes her prisoner with no explanation other than she is to submit to him. And he has every expectation that she will. But Chloe isn’t what Darko expected, not at all.
  
  I loved Chloe’s inner dialogue and her sarcasm when dealing with this larger-than-life and dominating man. There were a few spots where I made special note of her wit; it was so refreshing.
  
  Why has Darko taken Chloe? He says he’s protecting her but from whom? What was the real cause of her father’s death and why is she being pulled into a dark situation she doesn’t understand? Read the book and find out. You won’t be disappointed, but then we never are with Loki’s books.
• Every time I think this author has reached the pinnacle of dark deliciousness, she sets the standard even higher. This book will grab you by the throat from the start and keep you on edge till the very end. She masterfully takes unabashedly dominating men of dubious character and makes you crave for more, including peripheral characters that will tweak your imagination as well. Great read that you will devour in one sitting simply because you won’t be able to put it down.

• Loki’s depictions of the characters is spot on. You can feel Chloe’s despair at losing her father and then the hatred of Darko & the Order, when she finds out they killed him. Chloe is the heroine and Darko, the hero. This is a very dark twisted storyline. Unbelievably these two actually find an HEA; through all the chaos and darkness. There is a very prominent D/s storyline in this book. I recommend this book.
• Great story,characters were awesome,plot was good. I only have one negative thought and it is toward the end I thought it was rushed. But it won't stop me from her other books
• Wow! This was not what I expected, but then again, I didn’t know what to expect. Chloe’s and Darko’s story is passionate, powerful and runs the full gamut of emotions. You gotta read this!
• This story was just to dark for me. I prefer more romance and less anger. This would be a good story for someone who likes this type of book.
• I love this book! All the twists and turns and things that I did not expect. This was a great read and I finished it in one day.

"Jade Kerrion does it again!! This series has been a treat and the third book has kept the adventure going. Ashe and Varun have new problems as they try to find the portal, confront Ereshkigal and recover Ashe's son Zamir. Varun has new powers that he needs to learn to control. Ondine, Varun's ex-fiance, who was inhabited by Neti as a little girl, is now the guardian of the door and a fire elemental. She proves to be a problem in Ashe's plans every step of the way. To make matters worse, there is another threat out there facing them all.

I have enjoyed every book in this series so far. Make sure you have time to read this because you may find yourself up in the wee hours of morning because you just can't put the story down. I kept telling myself I'd just get to the end of the chapter. Several chapters later, I knew that I would be going to work on very little sleep, but content in knowing what happened. This is the type of series you share with others. I highly recommend all the books in this series. Start with book 1, otherwise you miss out on amazing character building and backstory. I look forward to book 4.

• Jade Kerrion is one of my favorite authors, and its series like Daughter of Air that show why this is the case. Highly imaginative, really well written and with superb world-building and characters. That’s no less true with the series’ third book, Cursed Flame. Ashe and Varun are fantastic characters and what they go through is earth shattering. It’s also totally enjoyable and my only real criticism is that there’s a cliffhanger at the end ... and I’m going to go into withdrawal waiting for the next one. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
• Cursed Flames is just a perfect third book in this series by Jade Kerrion. I have been hooked on this series since the first book and this book has not changed the fact that I want read more about Ashe and Varun! The author has a writing style that just draws you in and makes it difficult to put this book down! This is a series page turner and it has a flow to the plot that just keeps you reading on. There is always something happening but it has a natural feel to it in a way, that never feels forced. The plot is imaginative with some great twists hidden in the plot. The pace is just perfect and with something always happening you don't even realize that the book is over sooner than you know, or want it to be for that matter!
  
  Ashe continues to grow in this third book and I am really a huge fan of our "little mermaid". I love the character development that the author continues to do on no just her but also on Varun and believe it or not, also her sidekick Jinn. There is a lot more to Jinn than meets the eye but I am sure a lot of readers are already suspecting it, question is when will the author reveal what or who is Jinn really? I for one can't wait to find out more about Jinn and it will give some more depth to this series that is for sure. The secrets ad mysteries sure seem to increase and with every secret that is solved, more seem to appear keeping you guessing and trying to figure them out BEFORE The author actually spells it out for you, since obviously it is always more fun figuring it out before you are told.
  
  This is a fantastic series so if you are interested I would recommend to start from the beginning. They are a consecutive series so it makes more sense to read them in sequence and since it is a great series you may as well just read them all.

  I’ll agree with the other reviewers. Wow! Awesome!
  The book ties the others together. You learn about all the other things that needed something more to understand. And you learn about Gods and the underworld which is a nice side affect of reading this book! New players, new situations, new thoughts of course pepper the book with the suspense you have expected. But, why, why, why did you have to put a complete cliff hanger on the end!!! And here I thought this was a three book series! Although maybe it’ll be a spin off into a new series. Either way, the books are excellent, keep your attention-maybe a bit too much and make you want to learn more!

• Every book just gets better and better, we see Ashe's and Varun's relationship change and I love how Varun balances out Ashe's harshness. Even more myths are revealed in this book along with meeting new Characters that I can't wait to see where things go with them. With both Ashe and Varun you can't help but feel the passion they have for doing what they need to and the twists that come along the way. We find out more about Innana's past as well as her sisters and Jinn ... ohhh well dang I did not see that coming!! I can't wait to read the next book because I am well and truly hooked on this series!!!

• This third instalment in the Daughter of Air series continues straight after book 2, and is as full of drama, adventure, intrigue, romance, myth and magic as you could possibly wish for! I'm loving this series, and would highly recommend it to all lovers of paranormal/supernatural stories, especially those involving myths from other cultures. I've always loved Ancient Greek and Roman stories, but this series has brought Sumerian culture into that mixing bowl too, and I'm really glad for that. Off to read book 4 to see what happens - can't wait!!!

• I’m not good with words and have never given a review on a book before, but here goes.
  
  I LOVED this book. I was interested in this book because it is about my home town and my high school. After reading the first chapter, I was hooked and could not put it down.
  It was entertaining and had such a suspense to it that I just had to keep reading to find out what happened next.
  I recommend this book to everyone who loves to read. It not only shows the happy things in life but shows what all families go through every day. Love and tragedy plus perseverance.
  Even if you are not an avid reader, I think you will enjoy this book.

• I found this book easy and enjoyable to read. Beth Duke did a wonderful job of introducing her characters and her storyline and grabs your interest right away. The relationship between Ronni and Violet was very heartfelt and truly believable. It made me wish that I knew them both in real life. Violet was quite the character with lots of charm, confidence and beauty and made you feel that everyone really did love her. I have close to one thousand books on my and put this book near the top of my most favorites. Highly recommend this book. Lois C.

• Only if Ronni finishes the book about Violets life will she get the money, so no mystery there.
  The "fat" girl is a size 12! And like Violet at her age the most beautiful girl around.
  I was looking for a feel good story but this is like eating refined sugar.
  The characters are all too nice and basically have no personality.
  I'm one third into the book and both stories are dragging and way too fairy tale.
• Loved this book. It is easy to get swept up in the lives of the characters. I put off reading the book until I could have the time to really enjoy it. I read it in a day and a half because I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this book along with the other two written by Beth Duke
• If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would! It’s a must read! I laughed , I cried, I dreamed, and I believed! “It All Comes Back To You” is one of the most well written novels I’ve read in quite a while. I was mesmerized by Beth Duke’s ability to immediately lure the reader into the lives of her characters with such vivid imagery and charm. The very first page captivated my attention and kept it until the final sentence. I loved the southern charm which eminated throughout the story making the characters more believable and loved. The twists and turns, as well as the intertwining of the lives of the characters made this out to be a very exciting and enjoyable book. I would highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read Beth Duke’s next novel!
• I loved this book so much. I had a very hard time putting it down. I didn’t want it to end and find myself thinking about Ronni and Violet and how I miss these characters. I have lost both of my parents recently and have been reading mostly books on grief. I decided I needed to read a fun book that will take me out of my of my head and this book succeeded in doing that and I am grateful.
